Strength

One time, on a psychic questing weekend in Staffordshire with Andy Collins, we visited various locations, including the cave known as Lud’s Church, which is traditionally associated with the story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. The cave is close to the River Manifold and has also been suggested as a possible location of the Green Chapel mentioned in the poem about Sir Gawain. One of Andy’s group had decided to follow a thread about the beheading game famously played by Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, and I tagged along as a neutral observer and followed the goings on with an interested if sceptical eye.
